OLD FAITHFUL
For some reasons these old Faiveley that I came across were all very reliable wines, very well made, never too loud, and served us faithfully like an old Volvo that can go on and on, unlike many younger winemakers.
Unexpected bouquet of wet wood, followed by faint floral and dry potpourri.
A chewy wine, very much alive and cheerful, loads of fresh strawberries, high acidity but body surprisingly mellow, approachable and friendly. Although quick to dry up, drink up.
