Brilliant ruby, and strawberry red. Hints of lettuce, icorice and pepper.
Even from a excellent vintage, winemaker making mediocre wines must be quite sad. This one is almost in this category; nose is woody, not much fragrance. Palette has slightly higher acidity, but the fruits are weak, thus it can never come to balance. I was sadden by the fact that these mediocre winemakers are quickly forgotten despite the tremendous effort they hv put in.
