1990 Pape Clement Pessac Leognan
Tasted in double blind format, only managed to nail it down as Bordeaux left bank wine, and nothing else. Nose are filled with fine woods and cedar woods, capsicum and strong vanilla. On the mouth, I detected relative greenness, good fruit, a bit lean, with good elegance of the wine. However, the wine did not improve in the glass even though the first impression was really good.
