1990 Salon Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs Brut
LINGERING FLORAL
This was served from a magnum. I had a bottle in the past before, I guess some of my audiences may want to know more of this champagne.
The key to older Salon was its aftertaste; pay attention to your palate when you finished drinking the champagne, you may find that there'll be a lot of floral aftertaste notes.
An extremely long finishing champagne, and was really difficult to guess that this was a blanc de blanc. I hope I'll be able to bake my own bread in due time. Cheers!
