1990 Thomas Moillard Romanee Saint Vivant Grand Cru
VINTAGE MADE A DIFFERENCE
Not a well known winemaker to start off with, but the content was rock solid; elegance, elegance and still elegance, it was one of the most balanced wine amongst a lineup of Romanee Saint Vivant and Richebourg, of which I attributed it to the great vintage of 1990 rather than the winemaker skills (pardon me, I hardly drank anything from Thomas Moillard). Was undisputed wine of the night in a strong lineup.
