1992 Bonneau du Martray Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru
GREAT UNKNOWN VINTAGE
Most people had an impression that 92 was an average vintage, they probably used red burgundies or Bordeaux as a reference, don't be misled, 92 was a superb white burgundy vintage!
Obviously this showed how a great vintage white burgundy should be. Extremely balanced on the palate, so smooth, so easy to drink, possessing multiple layers of complexity. Later stage I detected some oak and buttery notes. This no doubt was the best Bonneau du Martray I've ever had!
