1992 Canon Saint Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classe
Had a chance to pop a bottle of Canon 1992. Expected it to be bad, but reality was that it was worse than just bad. Sadly, this was a hopeless Bordeaux vintage in play, so one has to be prepared to expect the ultimate worst.
Nose was of greenness and very light fruits with a slight tinch of smoke. Palate was very diluted, fruits were fading, there was nothing worth mentioning. Just avoid all these bad vintages, life is too short to drink bad wines!
