Hospice de Beaune is a yearly charity auction that uses some skillful winemaker expertise to tender the barrel being purchased by the auctioneer. However I don't know this winemaker Regis Vrillaud, so I don't have any past reference. Anyone care to share?
Bouquet of extreme barley, a bit Sauternes and botrytis. Body was rich, balance and easygoing, however it was too matured compared to wines from the same vintage.
