1992 Joseph Drouhin Montrachet Grand Cru Marquis de Laguiche
DAY 2 INT'L VIVINO CHAPTER
We had 3 Montrachets side by side in the afternoon, and two happens to be Marquis de Laguiche (59 & 92), one can see the style of 4 decades apart, but consistently similar. I really love this 92, intense honey and honeysuckle all over the nose. Very feminine, refined, power of a Batard Montrachet without the buttery taste, very long finishing and a very powerful wine. Thanks to Johan for letting me taste this gem! Another vintage I really love was the 89, hoping to find some!
