1992 Leroy Bourgogne Blanc

1992 was a five star vintage for white burgundies, unfortunately not many people knew about it. It was my best kept secrets but I decided to open this bottle for a litmus test: a village level but from a great vintage, will it survive after 24 years? Normally a village level would have been passe. Leroy is Leroy, gosh, smelling like a matured but youthful nose. Palette was still going strong, matured lemon, ripe pears and youthful apricots. It was on par with a premier cru level easily.
