1993 Chateau Latour Pauillac
It was served blind. Extremely difficult to tell that it was a left bank, not to mention guessing as a Latour! Gotta be the vintage, plus the wine was not decanted. I thought it was a Pomerol from the nose, was miles apart with my effort. I left it in the glass for a while after learning it as a Latour. True enough, the very elegant tobacco nose surfaced. Palette is almost burgundy like, soft, elegant and smooth. However, it lacks the typical power of Latour.
