1993 Louis Carillon & Fils Bienvenues Batard Montrachet Grand Cru
Really difficult to find a wine to beat an aged Bienvenues Batard Montrachet! So buttery, mingled with lemon and matured white burgundy nose; the palette is so mellow and soft, apart from some lively acidic lurking around, never fall short of being impressive on the palette, coupled with complexity, minerality, everything is in perfect harmony. It's irresistible, a bottle was consumed by me in absolute speed of within an hour!
