1996 RIGHT BANK SURPRISE..
I always have an impression that right bank Bordeaux 1996 was a poor vintage, so I always avoided buying any right bank wines, until this one that came as an irresistible offer. Upon opening, I was frustrated already! Borderline maderization. I immediately decanted it and see if I can salvage the bad nose. It worked! An hour later most bad nose has cleared off and I was enjoying my bottle, which consisted loads of stewed cherries and dark berries. Pretty enjoyable.
