1996 Haut Bailly Pessac Leognan
VERTICAL HAUT BAILLY
I had the honor to attend a vertical tasting of Haut Bailly with the Chateau President, and was really impressed with the wines, and I can't wait to report my findings cheap man's Lafite!
I saw a common denominator, every vintage was soft and elegant with great finesse, and it was so similar to Lafite that if you blind me, I'll be confused.
Inky, squid ink on the nose. Extremely soft and elegant, tasted like an 88 Lafite, superb multiple layers, great finesse. Stunning!
