1996 Haut Brion Pessac Leognan Blanc
SUPER LONG FINISHING
One of the best producer of Bordeaux Blanc, Haut Brion Blanc deserved full attention by Bordeaux lovers.
Nose was quite muted initially, but turned dried honey and honeysuckle about 30mins later. The content is of good complexity; every sip there are multiple characters beyond descriptions. Primarily dry tobacco leaves and unsweetened honey, the finishing coupled with the multi layers of complexity was almost endless. I can still get the flavor after a long gone sip, really amazing.
