1996 Hudelot Noellat Romanee Saint Vivant Grand Cru
A great winemaker, but the Romanee Saint Vivant was no way in comparison to its Richebourg. Much less balance, not a rich style, doesn't have much depth nor flavor, I wasn't too impressed with this RSV despite it coming from a great vintage. It proved that the winemaker is still subjective to the terroir and weather and the given plot of good land.
