1996 Maison Roche de Bellene Meursault Premier Cru Perrières
This Roche de Bellene was a pet project for Nicholas Potel, as a negociant, he sourced his grapes from the growers in burgundy, and put together this Meursault Perrieres. Badly corked, I wish we have a recourse to such problematic bottles nothing to do with consumers. Ignoring the cork taint, the body of the wine was huge with nice acidity. Won’t be fair to judge such corked bottle.
