1997 Guiraud 1er Grand Cru Classe
DISAPPOINTED
I remembered clearly in a high end event I hosted (LVMH's Chaumet), I popped open a couple of bottles of y'Dquem 97, and all my guests enjoyed it and claimed that it was Wine of the Night.
Expectations ran high for this Guiraud 97, but a disappointing strong nail varnish greeted me, like you're in a renovating room. The content was purely sweetness but totally unexciting, very stoned character. Highly disappointed.
