I realized that many drinkers didn't know that 1998 Bordeaux right bank was a great vintage, thus I organized a tasting of some left and right bank Bordeaux wines, it proved to be an eye opener, right bank unknown labels overwhelmed left bank top labels. No reason to buy 98 left bank wines!
Predominantly 85% merlot with Cab Franc 5% and Cab Sav 15%, body was charming, despite initial dryness and tannic, it gained weight over time, became richer and extremely nice to drink!
