NEGOCIANT QUALITY
I need to warn all my audiences to be really careful with burgundies. If you come across negociant bottled wines, unless you really know what you are buying (like reputable negociants: Drouhin, Bouchard...etc), avoid it like a pest! I have never come across really impressive negociant bottled wines.
Needless to say, this was full of disappointment. From nose to body was simply same character hawthorn, plus body of high acidity, not worth calling itself Grand Cru, maybe village level.
