1998 Lagavulin Islay Single Malt Double Matured
GOOD WHISKEY!
Lately I've been reporting on my whiskey journey, with the hopeless Johnny Walker to boot, a decent Yamazaki 18 years old, till this Lagavulin Single Malt that finally impressed me.
Nose of peats. I really liked this palate comparing to the ones I mentioned earlier; fiery, hickory and most importantly it had multiple layers of tastes and sophistication. Thanks to my friend who introduced me to these new toys!
