1998 Louis Latour Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru Les Demoiselles
CHEVALIER?
From what I know, Les Demoiseilles is located in Le Caillerets (a region known to produce reds rather than whites) rather than in Chevalier Montrachet itself, so why do Louis Latour had naming rights on their labels as Chevalier Montrachet was beyond me. Please enlighten me.
For some reason I hardly had luck with this label, same went to this bottle; nose of very matured and developed nose, ripe and cooked lemons as well. Palate was overly matured, baked apple, forward, almost Premox.
