Money probably can’t buy this bottle, as it’s rare like hell to find such old Aussie bottle.
It was extremely charming and I consistently noted it as an old world production (served blind), as the bouquet of slightly smoky, berries and medicinal threw me off. Similarly, the palate reflected old world character as well; creamy, vanilla and oaky, and slightly short on the finishing. Even on a second serving I still swear by the old world pleasant and comfort style. Really surprised.
