1999 Valduero Crianza Ribera Del Duero
Crianza spent one year in oak barrels, thus it’s not going to give you a lot of vanilla nor oak bouquet or taste. This bottle reflected the Crianza aging perfectly well, with bouquet only showing grape fruits and nothing else; content was also similar with no trace of oak nor vanilla, just a very simple taste, although the saving grace was that it was very easy to drink with very pleasant feeling, while you can still feel some grips towards the end of the bottle, thus it can still age another couple of years. Nothing really spectacular about this wine.
