2000 Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon
CLONE
I was served double blind for this bottle last night. Swirl a little to nose more, felt slight burned wood, slight smoke, and very creamy (probably oak).
Palate was easygoing, pleasant, broad, not long, young, big and bold, loads of vanilla.
I quickly ruled out Bordeaux but was still sticking to old world, so I decided to give Spanish a shot, probably Tempranillo. I was denied by sommelier, gave me a 2nd chance so I went for Australia, bingo. Gave the vintage around 1997 to 2000, not bad.
