2000 Domaine Michel Neillon Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru
OVERLY GENEROUS
My great friend Peter popped a bottle of this gem at home, felt that it was a borderline premox or rather advanced bottle, popped another bottle of the same label and vintage. He's truly generous and for the love of wines!
Both bottles possessed sugarcane character although the first bottle was more severe, also with some wet straws and mild tobacco. Both content were vastly different, the better bottle had the elegance and pure muscle without looking muscular. Length was great as well.
