INTOXICATING
There is no question that the Margaux region is known as having one of the most perfumed wines in Bordeaux. It has an intoxicating fragrance that draws you in. And once you've had some, you can never have enough!
Coming from a very good vintage, this is a great example of the intoxicating smell Margaux region is known for. It had ripe red fruits, dry leaves, and a tinnge of smoke on the nose. The palate had the same ripe red fruits, great balance and velvety tannins. I can smell this all day!

EXCEPTIONAL!!!
I wanted to give this wine a five star rating but I refrained from doing so, as I will only award five stars for superb wine. However I was really impressed with this wine from this exceptional vintage. The body of the wine was a killer ripe fruits, very rich, deep dark core, voluptuous, flamboyant, great balance, totally took my heart away, especially for a third growth status! The nose was a typical Margaux nose with fragrance and matured red fruits. Wrapped up the bottle in an hour!

In a bling tasting. This is awesome, still too young & lots of life ahead.
