2001 Chateau Clos de Sarpe Saint Emilion Grand Cru
Used to be classified as a garage wine, but as time goes by, the true color revealed and not really meeting the garage wine status. Another right bank wine with loads of coffee and dark chocolate on the nose. Unfortunately the palette disappointed me somehow, a tad too simple, lacks complexity and short finishing, despite the palette is dense and relatively sweet.
