2001 Haut Bailly Pessac Leognan
VERTICAL HAUT BAILLY
I had the honor to attend a vertical tasting of Haut Bailly with the Chateau President, and was really impressed with the wines, and I can't wait to report my findings cheap man's Lafite!
I saw a common denominator, every vintage was soft and elegant with great finesse, and it was so similar to Lafite that if you blind me, I'll be confused.
01 was a step above 06, on top of 06 characters, it had depth and long finishing that 06 lacked, sophisticated, young and still tannic.
