CHARMING
Charmes Chambertin really means charming to me, one of my all time favorite plot from Gevrey Chambertin. This maker is really proud of their Charmes Chambertin, and rightfully so, I was really impressed with it.
Surprisingly jammy, extremely ripe and forward bouquet hit me right from the start. Then the charm begins; very charming, the wine is so chewy on the fruits that I can almost eat it! Long, rich, deep, with good layers of complexities, surprisingly still tannic.
