2001 Larrivet Haut Brion Pessac Leognan Blanc
HONEY HONEY HONEY
Whatever you want to call it, darling, sweetheart, honey ... you'll get a response from this label.
On the nose, the strong ripe fruits and honey sweetness was strong, alongside with faint modern oak. Palate wise, it was purely honey, not overly sweet, but definitive honey like character, perhaps mingled with some ripe or cooked fruits, definitely low on acidity but great on honey which somehow warmed my heart when I had the first glass.
