2001 Vieux Chateau Certan Pomerol
In the pre 2000, VCC wasn't made like this. I don't know if there is a change of style, or the excellent Pomerol vintage is playing a role, I lean towards the formal. Nose with decent perfumes, very dense fruits and very big nose. Unsurprisingly the palette was extremely dense and relatively big, but on the contrary fruits is a bit light that I felt a bit hollow and diluted, strange description but that's my opinion. The body comes with truck loads of red fruits.
