2002 Bonneau du Martray Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru
It's hard to find a better producer of Corton Charlemagne than Bonneau du Martray in Burgundy. This wine is no exception, huge mineral nose, coupled with slight fragrance, lemon, turned petrol after a while, and wrapped up with vanilla ice cream. Palette wise, it was Extremely rich and big on fruits wine, very mineral and very oily. Can hold in the glass for a long time, smell and taste it again when your dessert is served. You'll be surprised to see that it's still alive and kicking.
