2002 Chateau Margaux Pavillon Blanc
DECENT BORDEAUX BLANC Pavillon Blanc is the only 100% Savignon Blanc grape variety that I know of, but it didn't taste like 100% SB, which is usually sharp and with elevated acidity. This one tasted very nutty and buttery, along with low acidity and very easy on the palette. The nose was so fragrant it smelled like in a field of summer flowers. I guess this was not a great Bordeaux Blanc vintage, thus the wine didn't taste as exciting as other vintages I had.
