2002 Comtes Lafon Meursault 1er Perrières
3.5hrs decanting insufficient! My friend served this bottle tonight and decanted it 3.5 hours before serving us. A whiff and I blurted Meursault Perriers due to the similar characters of the Roulot Meursault Perriers I had recently: orange zest, tangerine, orange, very clean nose. Palette of light orange juice (very predominant), light and thin, turns lime and richer at 4.5 hours mark. It keeps improving in the glass so it looks like this wine will have long ageing lifespan, no hurry to drink them up!
