2002 Perrier Jouet Blanc De Blancs Belle Epoque
DECENT BUBBLY...
I was attending an Armand Rousseau Clos St Jacques vertical tasting this evening and was blessed to be served this champagne tonight. Getting almost a muted nose, and gratefully the not so pleasant heavy yeast in most champagnes were not present in this one. I get more fruits than bubble in this champagne, finished off with a slight bitterness. Still a good champagne from a superb vintage.
