2003 Chateau Soutard Grand Cru Classe
Not exactly a good vintage for Bordeaux as it was super hot thus killing all the Merlot grapes and only the tough Cabernet Sauvignon survived. Aromas of plum, black cherry and vanilla smoke with some green notes coming out later on. Palate had some intensely strong tannins, choking alcohol and fruits not so evident. What a shame.
虽然2003年是个不错的波尔多年份,但是因为天气非常热燥,所以只适合长相思的成长,而梅洛没办法生存,所以导致这个右岸酒经不起打击。香味带有梅,黒加伦和香草味,但是后来也出现青椒味。口感的单宁很浓厚,还有很呛的酒精味,而且果味一点都不明显。没有什么值得留念的差右岸年份。
