STRUCTURED BURGUNDY
There are two types of burgundy I liked. One type was the extreme feminine style like La Tache, the other type would be structured style like Bouchard l'Enfant Jesus. This one belonged to the latter.
Upon pouring a glass, I was shocked coz the color was so deep and dark it looked almost like a Bordeaux wine. A sip and I confirmed that the wine was a big style. Bold and structurally massive and firm, it's totally unlike a burgundy. I liked the deep and bold style of such wine.
