2003 Nu Er Hong (Daughters Red)
This is the most famous yellow wine in China. It was usually drank when the daughter gets married in Chinese tradition. The alcohol is only a mere 13 14% unlike those strong white liquor, so it goes extremely well with Chinese food. In my opinion I find that it is a bit too sour and acidic, perhaps due to insufficient aging (this is a 12 year old bottle). The way to drink it is to warm it up to about 90 degrees and you have the option to add a piece of ginger (to clear coldness in the body). Interesting?
