ALMOST THE BEST
My ultimate Montrachet report 4/12, I absolutely loved this wine that was served in the first flight of four. Absolutely too young as the nose was totally muted with very faint butter. The elegance was extreme, the best I’ve ever encountered! Along with the ultra long finishing, huge amount of layers, ridiculous balance, the softness for this wine made me speechless. Unfortunately there was something better towards the end, but this was easily almost the king of Montrachet for tonight!
