ULTIMATE MONTRACHET 1/12
In this series I will report the detailed tasting of 12 ultimate bottles of Montrachet 04, blind format, to find the King of Montrachet.
First bottle to start. Nose was behaving prim and proper; faint floral, slight orange tinge, great elegance, slight smoke and butter.
Palate was easy and effortless, although slightly green and raw. Very good layering and super long, keeps evolving in the glass. +15m gaining weight but rough, +20m gaining acidity, +30m very buttery.
