In this series I will report the detailed tasting of 12 ultimate bottles of Montrachet 04, blind format, to find the King of Montrachet.
Don’t be fooled by big name labels, they oftentimes disappoint more than perform. This was a prime example, not even in my top 3!
Nose was kinda cheesy and soft. I was disturbed by the ultra high underlying acidity, body was reductive, almost like reduced vinegar with massive concentration, extremely rich palate.
