In this series I will report the detailed tasting of 12 ultimate bottles of Montrachet 04, blind format, to find the King of Montrachet.
Perhaps the smallest producer in Montrachet with only 0.04 hectares, it was very unknown except to serious wine connoisseurs.
Muted nose, very faint spring flower and camomile. But the palate was quite the opposite which was big, rich, massive concentration and perhaps a tad too overpowering, but I endured the boldness and quite liked it!
