2004 Haut Bailly Pessac Leognan

Haut Bailly has been having a great run since 1996, and I have been following this label through vertical tasting, I even called it Baby Lafite!
Drinking the 04 would be a test for this label as 04 can be a struggle. Nose of typical Graves style of earth, inky and elegance.
Content was really like the elegance of Lafite, perhaps an 88 Lafite, except it didn't age as long. Predominantly red fruits, but it does have a very chewy mouthfill. Slightly acidic which was probably it's weakness.
