2004 Les Forts De Latour Pauillac
BURNED WOODS
For the lack of description, and was the most prominent character I've detected on the nose, it was a different character of Les Forts de Latour I've ever had. Alongside the smoke never left the glass.
Loads of dark fruits, but on the lighter side. Content was also creamy. Despite massive tannins still present for this wine, I didn't feel it was as impressive as 03 nor was it as balanced as 05. So I'd take it to be a nice drink and nothing more.
