2004 Pommery Cuvee Louise Brut
I was really surprised by the quality of this champagne that I wanted to make a point to write about it. The nose was creamy and yeasty. Palette was really a big surprise to me; fresh, lively, sharp, precise, all the good quality of a good champagne! I need to drink a few more vintages to gauge and see if this label is performing consistently or not, or it’s just a one off excellent jackpot? Must confess 2004 is a really great champagne vintage!
