2004 Robert Groffier Père & Fils Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers
A spicy, ripe, perfumed and almost airy nose combines seductively ripe crushed red and black fruit aromas.
Decent floral nose with loads of dark cherries, didn't nose like a big nor structured wine, I said ok to myself which I don't prefer structured burgundy too much, ok once in a while. A sip and I was right, this ain't a structured wine. However, I still decanted half the bottle as I feel the acidity is elevated and it requires some air to mellow it. I was right, in less than 15 min this wine is singing mellow tones, and far more approachable than my initial sip. Graceful and semi soft style.
