2005 Castellare di Tonda Chianti
Strong and powerful nose, mingled with deep dark fruits. The nose scored a lot of points, but the body pulled down the expectations; a bit too diluted despite what the nose told me, the wine body was too thin with slightly insufficient fruits to sustain the structure, turned out the tannins totally overwhelmed the fruits.
