2005 Chateau Joanin Becot Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux
SURPRISED FIND I was really impressed with the quality of this wine that came from around Bordeaux and not those proud Bordeaux chateaus, should be Cotes de Castillon if I'm not wrong. I was rewarded with massive dark fruits like dark cherries, chocolate. The wine has a lot of thickness, richness and very fruity. In fact the wine is nowhere near ready to be consumed, as after 2 glasses, my palette was coated with a huge layers of tannins! Extremely value for money label.
