2005 Epsilon wines Barossa Valley Shiraz
While these Australian wines are decently attractive when young, I just could not find any reason that they can age well in the long run like Bordeaux. While they are big and intense, it is missing something that the French or old world can do so well that the new world wines are sorely missing. It's probably the age of the vines and perhaps the terrior. I'd love to taste some 60s or 70s wines from downunder. Any recommendation?
